Our Programs

Helping People Solve Conflicts and Learn Dispute Resolution Skills

Community Mediation offers services which help people understand and constructively approach the conflicts that can arise at work, at home, and in our neighborhoods.

In the workplace mediation can help with problems between management and employees, customer relations issues, and workplace disputes.

In the family mediation helps with marital disagreements, visitation issues, family business disputes, inter-generational differences, and divorce issues..

In the neighborhood mediations address landlord/tenant disputes, property concerns, merchant/consumer relations, disputes over noise problems, and interpersonal issues.

Victim-Offender Reconciliation facilitates the creation of restitution agreements between offenders and victims in criminal cases.  In cooperation with the Tippecanoe County criminal justice system and under the guidance of impartial mediators, offenders face their victims, learn the real consequences of their actions and are given the opportunity to accept responsibility for making things right.  Victims have a chance to participate meaningfully in the justice process, to receive fair compensation for their losses, and to begin to heal from the trauma of the crime.

Conflict Resolution Workshops, facilitated by our staff, can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your business or organization. Participants learn to understand conflict, to communicate more effectively, and to solve problems cooperatively.
